Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Creakyhat collects when you use AtlasDraw (the apps for Windows and Mac) and this website, atlasdraw.com, and what we do with it.

We may change this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for a significant change we'll say so on this page.

What changed on 30 October 2026: the apps can now download shape libraries from GitHub. See Shape libraries below.

The AtlasDraw apps

Shape libraries

The apps can download free shape libraries from our AtlasDraw-Libraries page on GitHub. They fetch the list of libraries and their preview pictures when you open Browse libraries, the libraries you choose to install, and, once a day while you have libraries installed, the list again to see whether any of them have been updated. You can turn that daily check off in Settings with Check for library updates; the list is then only fetched when you open Browse libraries.

These are ordinary downloads. They don't include your drawings, your settings, an account or any identifier, and nothing is sent to us. Like any website, GitHub sees your IP address and which files were asked for; the GitHub privacy statement covers what it does with that. Installed libraries are kept on your computer.

Buying and downloading AtlasDraw

AtlasDraw is sold through the Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store, which handle the purchase, payment and (on Windows) the free trial. We never see your payment details. The stores give us sales reports and, depending on the settings on your device, crash reports and usage figures. These don't identify you to us. The Apple and Microsoft privacy policies cover what the stores collect.

Feedback you post on GitHub or Reddit is public, and those services' own privacy policies cover it. Please don't include personal information there.

AtlasDraw isn't aimed at children, and the apps and this website don't collect personal data from anyone.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. In practice, the only personal data we hold is in emails you've sent us.
